Source standards
We prefer primary or expert-reviewed sources from pediatric, public-health, consumer-protection, and child-development organizations. Sources are linked at the end of applicable guides. We distinguish external guidance from ChorePoints product behavior and from our own practical recommendations.
Writing and product claims
- We write for parents and caregivers in plain language.
- We avoid promises that a tool will eliminate conflict or guarantee a developmental result.
- We do not fabricate ratings, reviews, testimonials, credentials, or research.
- We disclose when a suggested workflow uses ChorePoints.
- We treat age ranges as flexible starting points and emphasize safety and supervision.
Review and corrections
Every guide displays a reviewed date. We recheck material when product behavior changes, a cited source changes materially, or a reader identifies an issue. Substantive corrections update the review date and may be summarized in product updates.
